RNDr. Jiří Materna, Ph.D.

I am a machine learning expert with more than 20 years of experience with ML applications in industry. I had been working as the head of research at Seznam.cz for 7 years and now offer machine learning solutions and consulting as a freelancer. I am also the founder and co-organizer of Machine Learning Prague, one of the biggest machine learning conferences in Europe, founder and lecturer at Machine Learning College, a study program of machine learning development, and a technological mentor at StartupYard and AI Startup Incubator. My professional interests include machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, statistics and solving hard computational problems with applications in real life.
